Mr. Colbert is a Lean practitioner with Lean Certification recognized by the Society of Manufacturing Engineers, the American Society of Quality, the Association for Manufacturing Excellence, and the Shingo Prize Institute. He is a Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence through the American Society of Quality and has earned the designation of Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality from The National Association for Healthcare Quality. Mr. Colbert is a Certified Instructor and Registered Proctor for the ServSafe Food Protection Managers Examination through the National Restaurant Association. Mr. Colbert holds a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. He is a Sigma Beta Delta International Honor Society Member for Business, Management and Administration. His expertise as publisher, consultant, editor, and author were essential to the Carrie Management series “Achieving Profit.” Mr. Colbert is passionate about the connection between the respect for people and results driven continuous improvement. He is a systems and infrastructure design expert who has facilitated Lean improvements in a wide range of business environments. His clients come from various hospitals throughout Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico and Texas and from organizations such as Walgreens, Sodexo, Arby’s, Five Guys, Culver’s, Burger King and Taco Bell.
George KeenGeorge Keen is known as a operational business strategist, retreat facilitator, guest speaker, magazine author, and the editor of the “Achieving Profit Series.” He brings to his clients more than thirty years experience in organizational development. He has conducted seminars on equipment sales, account management and consults on operational improvements and implementation; especially in service, parts, and rental departments. He designs performance management, compensation, incentive, employee productivity, and company turnaround plans and works with dealer principals and department managers in Dealer 20 Groups (Best Practice Meetings). George spent eight years managing retail stores and ten years with a software company in installation and sales. He was national sales manager for North America. George was a pioneer in the use of computers in accounting helping to move small business operations to computer systems in the 1960s and 1970s. Mr. Keen has been a guest speaker for conventions and workshops for AED, MHEDA, NAEDA, Yale, Vermeer, Husqvarna and many other manufacturers.
